Why is it special?
  • Gentle Yet Effective: Encapsulated Vitamin C delivers a highly absorbable and stable form, perfect for sensitive skin. It fights free radicals and boosts collagen for a firmer, brighter complexion.
  • Multi-Targeting Brightening: Kojic Acid, Lactic Acid & Glycolic acid (AHA), and Gluconolactone (PHA) work together to tackle dark spots and uneven skin tone. PHAs offer a gentler alternative to AHAs for those with sensitive skin. Additionally, Leuconostoc aka Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, a prebiotic ingredient, helps nourish the good bacteria on your skin, promoting overall skin health.
  • Hydration & Soothing: Propanediol, Glycerin, and Allantoin work together to deeply hydrate and soothe the skin.
  • Lightweight & Fast-Absorbing: This water-like formula feels weightless and absorbs quickly, leaving no greasy residue. Perfect for those who dislike heavy creams.
Skin types

Suitable for all skin types - including those with acne and rosacea. It's great for preventing premature aging. Ascorbyl palmitate, a stable liposoluble form of vitamin C, is safe for sensitive skin. Please do a patch test if you have extra-sensitive skin.

How to use

After cleansing, gently pat a few drops onto your face. Let it absorb before applying other serums or creams. Use it daily, preferably AM but also PM.

Sensitivity test

We recommend a patch test! Apply a small amount to a test area for 3 days, once a day. If your skin feels comfortable, you can use it regularly as directed.

This serum contains Glycolic Acid and Ascorbyl Palmitate, which can increase skin sensitivity to the sun. Be sure to use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. For optimal preservation, refrigerate after opening, ideally between 5-10 degrees Celsius.

Advanced Vitamin C Liposomal Serum for Sensitive Skin

Gently exfoliates the skin

Kojic acid brightens the skin by gently removing dead cells from the skin's surface and encouraging cell renewal. Additionally, lactic acid helps to moisturize the skin by drawing water molecules into the outer layer.

Soothes inflammation

With its anti-inflammatory properties, the serum can help calm redness and irritation often associated with acne. Some studies suggest that vitamin C also plays a role in regulating sebum production.

Boosts collagen production

Vitamin C promotes the synthesis of collagen and elastin, supporting healthy skin cell regeneration and diminishing the appearance of scars and other blemishes.

Improves skin texture and reduces hyperpigmentation

Acting as a natural skin brightener, vitamin C helps fade pigmentation spots and promote a more even skin tone. Additionally, it offers protection against the harmful effects of UV radiation, which can worsen hyperpigmentation and lead to skin damage.

Can I use the illuminating serum along with an exfoliant?

Yes, you can use both, but not together. Exfoliate at night for deep cleaning. Use your vitamin C serum in the morning to brighten skin. This way, you avoid irritation and get the benefits of each!

What is the correct way to apply this serum?

The serum should be applied evenly to the entire face, or if you have specific areas with pigmentation issues, you can target those areas.

Follow up with a moisturizer to maintain overall skin hydration and balance and a broad-spectrum SPF to protect your skin from harmful UV rays and prevent further pigmentation issues or signs of aging.

What are the benefits of lactic acid for the skin?

Lactic acid is a skincare superhero! It helps remove dead skin cells (exfoliation), keeps skin hydrated, and even tackles wrinkles, scars, and acne. It can also make your skin smoother and more even-toned.

Is this serum safe for people with sensitive skin?

This serum is formulated with a gentle, liposomal form of Vitamin C, making it particularly suitable for sensitive skin. While everyone's skin reacts differently, it's less likely to cause irritation. To be extra cautious, start with a few applications per week and gradually increase if tolerated. If any discomfort arises, stop use and consult a dermatologist.

How often should I use this serum?

Depending on your skin type and tolerance, the illuminating serum can be used daily. You can begin by applying the serum 2-3 times a week, in the morning on clean skin, before other serums or creams.

Can I apply makeup immediately after using this serum?

For best results, allow the serum a few minutes to fully absorb before applying makeup. This ensures that the active ingredients penetrate completely, maximizing their effectiveness.

Where should I store this product?

We recommend storing the product in a cosmetic mini fridge after opening. Vitamin C is sensitive to light, oxygen, and heat, which can make it less effective. Keeping it cool helps it stay potent.

How long will it take to see results from using this serum?

Results may vary, but with consistent use, many users see brighter and more even-toned skin within a few weeks. Follow the recommended usage and give your skin time to improve.

What are the benefits of kojic acid for the skin?

Kojic acid is great for reducing skin pigmentation like age spots, sun spots, and freckles. It also helps with conditions like melasma and hyperpigmentation.

Can vitamin C and kojic acid be used together?

Absolutely! Vitamin C and kojic acid work together to brighten and even your tone. Vitamin C tackles dark spots and builds collagen, while kojic acid reduces hyperpigmentation. This powerful combination fades spots, protects against damage, and boosts collagen for smoother, more radiant skin.
